The Associate Partners and Partners on a case team are responsible for managing the Monitor relationship with a client, and for serving as the client’s strategic advisor and counselor. This relationship-building can start long before an actual project with a given client begins, and often continues long after a project is completed. The objective of a Monitor Partner is to become a trusted advisor to clients. To achieve this, Partners and Associate Partners work with Monitor case teams to deliver world-class solutions to clients' problems. Monitor will often have multiple projects underway with a client, and the Partner or Associate Partner directs activities across the various teams.
Some Partners and Associate Partners are specialists in the key Monitor growth disciplines and methodologies such as marketing, organizational design, innovation, strategy, or economic development. Your Development
Associate Partners and Partners bring a depth of experience and knowledge to bear in serving our clients, developed both through work at Monitor and work experience elsewhere. Our Associate Partners and Partners work with other Monitor colleagues and with our clients in a highly collaborative way.
In addition to their ongoing learning and development in the course of serving clients and leading account teams, new Associate Partners and Partners are invited to global orientations upon promotion. Associate Partners and Partners are also expected to attend regional training programs focused on developing further mastery in Productive Interaction skills (focused on further development of crucial interpersonal skills and interactions with both colleagues and clients), Client-Relationship building skills, and mastery of world-class content (often developed by Monitor’s thought leaders).
