Even before I started at Monitor I had contemplated doing an external PhD at a later stage. After two and a half years as a consultant I finally got the opportunity to put this intention into practice. Thanks to Monitor´s support I was able to fully focus on my PhD for two years. Intensive discussions with my colleagues during this time showed me time and time again that the theoretical knowledge I gained also applied in practice. Two articles I published together with colleagues in the field of my PhD dissertation emphasized this practical approach.

Monitor offers attractive Masters, MBA and PhD programs

Many of our consultants choose to pursue an advanced degree and Monitor has a long history of supporting consultants in their application. Our consultants have gone on to pursue Masters and PhD degrees at globally renowned universities.  In accordance with our meritocratic approach, successful consultants can receive enhanced compensation packages upon their return to Monitor and financial support for their time at university.

Masters (non-MBA)
At Monitor, all Bachelor hires begin their employment with a permanent contract. Subject to the individual performance evaluation, we support the applications of strong performing consultants with a minimum tenure of one year who are interested in pursuing a Masters programme (non-MBA). As part of this support we offer a competitive compensation package upon their return to Monitor.

MBA and PhD
Many Monitor consultants chose to pursue MBA or PhD degrees while at Monitor. We fully support the applications of these consultants. Subject to the individual performance evaluation, we often offer for strong performing consultants with a minimum tenure of two years both adequate financial support for their time at university and a competitive compensation package upon their return to Monitor.
