Scott Daniels

Scott Daniels is a Partner at Monitor and a leader in Monitor’s Chemicals/Energy and Sustainability practices. He has overseen projects across a wide range of industries, dealing with issues of corporate and business unit strategy, organizational structure, the consequences of regulatory and industry evolution, and identifying new platforms for growth. His work largely focuses on primary manufacturing businesses as well as technology-driven sectors, helping companies make strategic choices in complex environments such as commodity and specialty chemicals, agriculture, mining, energy, and telecommunications. He also serves as an industry expert in energy and petrochemicals, with extensive experience in the oil and electricity value chains, chemical/materials markets, and high-tech consumer markets. Scott received his BA with honors in economics from McGill University and his MA in economics from Queen’s University, where he was a Senator Frank Carrel Fellow. Chris Ertel

Chris Ertel is a Partner at Monitor. He has led or supported dozens of strategy and innovation consulting projects in a wide range of industries, including financial services, consumer goods, automotive, workplace design, professional services, pharmaceuticals, global logistics, and education. He specializes in the design and facilitation of complex learning and alignment-building group processes. Chris received both an MA in cultural anthropology and a PhD in demography from the University of California at Berkeley. Larry Keeley

Larry Keeley is a Partner at Monitor, and the President and cofounder of Doblin Inc. He is an acclaimed author, speaker, and teacher on the role of innovation in business. Over the last 25 years, Larry has advised hundreds of clients on how to use rational, repeatable methods to achieve innovation effectiveness. Larry was named by BusinessWeek as one of the "Seven Gurus of Innovation." He is also on the faculty and Board of the IIT Institute of Design in Chicago, and is a highly rated teacher at the Kellogg Graduate School of Business. Bansi Nagji

Bansi Nagji is a Partner at Monitor and Head of Monitor Innovation, the firm's global innovation practice. His primary areas of expertise are innovation, marketing, and strategy. While he has worked globally across many industries, he has particular expertise in the life sciences, health care, consumer goods, and financial services sectors. Bansi has almost 20 years of experience at Monitor, helping leaders of global companies with their toughest growth and innovation challenges. He has authored several papers and articles for publications, including Pharmaceutical Executive and The Conference Board Review. He also serves as a Venture Partner with Monitor Ventures. Prior to joining Monitor, he worked as an attorney in London with one of Europe's largest law firms. He holds a undergraduate and master's degree in law from Cambridge University, England, and an MBA with distinction from INSEAD, France. Geoff Tuff

Geoff Tuff is a Partner at Monitor and a leader of the firm’s Innovation practice. He has been at the firm since the early 1990s. Geoff has worked in a wide range of industries, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, consumer products, beverages, information services, financial services, telecommunications, metals, and both commodity and specialty chemicals. His work is focused entirely on helping companies grow organically through innovation and commercial excellence. Throughout his career, he has been instrumental in developing some of Monitor’s core methodologies related to driving top-line growth for clients, and is currently an account manager for several of the firm’s leading clients. His writing frequently appears in the Monitor Perspectives series and has been published in journals such as Marketing Management and Harvard Business Review. Geoff received his BA with honors from Dartmouth College, and also holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. Jeff Wordham

Jeff Wordham is a Partner at Monitor and a leader of the firm’s Innovation practice. In this role he focuses on helping companies identify and exploit new sources of profitable growth through innovation, including developing and commercializing new business models and concepts. He has led innovation efforts in a variety of industries, including pharmaceuticals, biotech, vaccines, and medical devices, as well as consumer products, telecommunications, and industrial products. Jeff received his bachelor’s degree in commerce from Queen’s University in Canada, and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
