The South African practice, opened in 1993, serves as the regional head office for Monitor’s African business. The office supports multi-national organisations throughout the continent and local firms growing domestically or expanding into Africa. Due to the size of the region, the practice has one of the broadest client bases of any Monitor office and serves a diverse range of industries, including consumer products, telecommunications, manufacturing, energy, resources, financial services as well as the public sector and developmental organisations.

The office, purpose built for Monitor in 2001, is located in the Houghton suburb of Johannesburg and is home to thirty consultants drawn from throughout the region and transfers from Monitor’s global resource pool. Like all Monitor professionals, our consultants come from a variety of educational and professional backgrounds and are dedicated to not only creating value for our clients, but also reinforcing Monitor’s reputation for having a meritocratic and dynamic environment where bright, motivated people will thrive.
