Monitor expects a lot from our consultants. The job is a demanding one, as we work to help our clients tackle their toughest problems around growth. As such, we invest heavily in the development of our consultants throughout their career path. Monitor features a variety of professional development programs designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge you’ll need to be a valuable to your client and case team; recognizing that the capabilities you need will vary over time, we’ve tailored these programs to various stages of your career.

Associate Program: The Associate Program is designed for undergraduates and non-MBA advanced degree holders entering the consulting industry for the first time. The program is focused on providing a broad introduction to the world of business and laying the foundation of analytical skills necessary for a future career at Monitor. The program spans the Case Team Member role and the transition to the Module Leader role.

Member Program: The Member Program is designed for existing employees promoted from the Associate program, recent graduates of top-tier MBA programs, and seasoned professionals with significant business experience. The program focuses on building the project management and firm leadership skills you’ll need to progress from Module Leader to Case Team Leader.

Path to Partnership: Becoming a partner at Monitor requires leadership across a set of dimensions: client service and commercial leadership; firm building; and character, persona and style. The Candidate Leader program focuses on all three of these dimensions through an apprenticeship model, while helping consultants move from Case Team Leader to Global Account Manager.
