Graduate/Experienced Consultant
The primary role of a graduate or experienced Monitor consultant is to make immediate, direct contributions to enhancing our clients' long-term competitive position and performance in ways that are distinctive, innovative, and sustainable. To do this, consultants must perform the following activities:
- Partner with client teams in developing hypotheses, gathering data, brainstorming alternatives, and generating recommendations
- Work collaboratively with case team members from both the Action Company as well as other Monitor companies
- Manage project teams in the formulation of marketing strategy through a deep understanding of the customer
- Integrate broad sets of data into frameworks which can then be used to synthesize learnings and develop strategy
- Determine the appropriate analysis techniques and supervise the analysis of existing and new customer data by undergraduate consultants
- Develop undergraduate consultants by teaching and coaching them in areas such as strategy formulation, case team and client interactions, and research design and analysis
Successful candidates will have an MBA or Ph.D. from a top tier school or several years of relevant business experience and the ability to meet each of the following criteria:
- Fluent Russian
- A strong and demonstrated interest in strategy consulting
- Background or experience (through coursework or employment) in marketing, quantitative analysis and financial analysis
- A base level of knowledge in business strategy, marketing, finance, operations, and data analysis techniques
- Excellent academic credentials for both undergraduate and graduate coursework
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Leadership qualities, project management skills, and the ability to mentor
- Willingness and ability to take initiative and learn independently
