Description

The Monitor Exchange is a place for Monitor’s communities to exchange ideas and information. The Exchange is a global network that includes a website for alumni, a website for employees and the planning of alumni events.  This role is to be the core content provider to both websites.

In general, responsibilities will include working with the US and London-based team, writing Monitor news pieces about Monitor alumni, employees, and activities, conducting interviews, and collecting and posting content on The Monitor Exchange alumni and employee websites. 

This person will also be involved in design of next version of The Exchange and its integration with Monitor.com, Monitor Group’s corporate website.

As a part of writing, collecting and posting content the role will necessitate involvement in the following:

•  Interacting with established network of senior consultants and Partners to stay informed on global firm and employee activities, events, etc.

•  Collecting and writing or summarizing news about Monitor, employee publications, speaking engagements, social events, etc.

•  Conducting ‘personal interest’ interviews with employees and alumni doing interesting things at or outside the firm. Writing short pieces based on these interviews for publication

•  Conducting brief interviews with alumni and employees around the world via email (or sometimes on the phone) using a question template

•  Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, as well as a strong interpersonal dynamic are essential for this role

•  Proactive and well organized with the ability to multi-task and work to deadlines

•  Highly creative and innovative with a good command of the English language

•  Team oriented with a high level of energy and enthusiasm

•  Confident, mature individual with good initiative and who is able to work independently as well as part of a team
