Access to Minds

December 7 - 8, 2009 Berkeley, California

Monitor Talent's annual private gathering of its network of thought leaders, Access to Minds, will be held on December 7 and 8 at the University of California at Berkeley School of Information.

The Access to Minds events are designed to provide the members of the Monitor Talent network an opportunity to interact and exchange ideas in unique, experiential ways unlike traditional meetings.

Previous meetings have focused on such topics as: The Future of Cities—how will the increased population of cities globally affect such sectors as the economy, healthcare, energy, business, and environment; Growing Capital – exploring a series of domains where growing and managing capital is crucial –social, intellectual, financial and reputation. At this year’s meeting, we will ask the participants to imagine the future—how is the world going to be different given the events and turmoil of the past year and what are the implications for society, technology, the global economy, politics and the environment?

More than 30 members of the Monitor Talent network are scheduled to attend the sessions. Monitor Talent, a part of Monitor Group, represents thought leaders with provocative ideas and expertise about the future of business, science, and society. We provide corporations and event producers with access to notable authors, speakers, educators, researchers, and executives from around the world.
